I have always created pieces that I wear myself or would love to see on others. I recently created a custom armor as a gift for my friend Lunar, who is a moon elf. Given my love of fantasy, fighting and swords, it was only natural that I'd create a dark version for my favorite drow/dark elves, which comes in both a female and male version...
I was inspired by Asian-influenced armor mostly, and looked at RL Chinese, Japanese and Russian armor references. I was also inspired by a medieval platemail breastplate. You may find these in SLEx and inworld at my shop at Regency.
